Guatemala Here We Come!
This blog is being established to keep people as up to date as possible concerning our mission trip to Solola, Guatemala July 12-21. Our team has 27 members including 12 Sr. High School students and 15 adults. We are going to be working at and orphanage called Eagle's Nest where there are currently 50 children being cared for. We will primarily be using this blog to keep church members updated while we are in Guatemala. So, check it out every once in a while and let others know that this is a way they can be updated concerning our trip.
In the mean time
Here are some ways you can pray for us as we prepare for our mission trip . . .
1. Pray for the unity of the team as we finalize preparations for our trip
2. Pray that each member of the mission team would be preparing them selves spiritually BEFORE our trip
3. Pray for safe travel and smooth flow of operations to and from
Guatemala
4. Pray for the orphaned children at Eagle’s Nest and that God would use us to minister to them
5. Pray that our team would not be hindered by the language barrier
6. Pray that those we come in contact with would be receptive to the gospel
7. Pray that we would be able to present the gospel to those who do not know Christ
8. Pray that our Guatemala mission team would ultimately bring glory to God in every thing that we do as a mission team
